VZ 58 Sight set with fiber optics

A very nice light guide set of sights for the SA58 gun, available in red and green.

The front sight is a newly made part, the rear sight plate with the slider is an original new part.

It all looks pretty simple before you try to make it.

So, the question for DIYers is how many drills will break when making one light-conducting visor slice? .....A LOT and its "great"  to hold it.

Installation

You will need the flywheel wrench from the cleaning kit twice for assembly and disassembly.

(And it will need to be sharpened a little more. The light-guiding front sight has a slightly larger diameter in the upper part - this is due to the light-guiding fiber, so that you can get the key to it at all)

The first time when unscrewing and screwing in the front sight, the second time you use the tip of this accessory to push the leaf spring in the places of the front pawls of the front sight plate, or between them, you will have to push the leaf spring really hard to release the sight plate, the new one is even worse and used I'm a wooden hammer for hitting the rear sight slice.

The front sight has a cut in the middle of the thread, so it is springy and there is no need to fix it with anything else.

The light guide front sight is not recommended for the Novohradsky combined gas handpiece with the front sight carrier, where the temperature is high, as well as for closed front sight carriers, where the front sight nut is very often turned, which results in a change of perpendicularity when the front sight is mounted in the front-back direction.
